Carey & Jared’s Engagement
Last weekend I had the great privilage of doing an engagement shoot for my friends Carey and Jared. We spent the afternoon having fun at Nashville's Bicentennial Mall. It's always a joy to see two people so in love and it makes it pretty easy to capture great moments. You'll see more of these two as I am looking forward to shooting their wedding this April.
When we saw that little rock hill above, we couldn't resist recreating some of the best movie posters of all time (National Lampoon's Vacation, Army of Darkness, etc.). Thanks for a fun afternoon guys!
Jennifer & Aaron’s Wedding
A couple of weeks ago I was honored to be a part of Jennifer & Aaron's beautiful wedding. It was my first time to shoot at the beautiful Historic Cedarwood Mansion. The rain ended earlier than expected and I was able to capture some great moments.
Congratulations guys, I wish you all the best!
God Bless My Wife.
So, today is I and my wife's 4 year anniversay. She's very gracious and sometimes allows me to photograph her. this may not seem like such a big deal, but to someone like her who hates having her picture taken, it is a miracle. This last sunday was such and occasion. nothing too fancy, just us in the back yard, but i got some of my favourite images of her so far.
I love you megan! Thanks for putting up with me thus far!
Karen & Robby’s Wedding Photos
I drove down to Grant, Alabama a few weeks ago to shoot Karen & Robby's wedding. The ceremony was held in the chapel on a DAR campus (yes, that DAR). The chapel was adorable though and the wedding was beautiful.
We met up a few hours before at a place called Gorham's Bluff for some photos and boy am I glad we did. Gorham's Bluff is a little vacation community subdivision designed by the guy who designed Seaside (of The Truman Show fame) and is is BEAUTIFUL!
I am so excited about the images I got of Karen & Robby's special day and I know they are thrilled with their images. Here are a few more:
Without Further Ado…
Well, this is it. I've finally decided to start blogging. I figured that would be a good way for people to see more than what I show in my portfolio. Also, it will hopefully force me to do more since I don't particularly want months or even weeks of downtime on the blog. I have a couple weddings scheduled for the year already and have been getting inquiries. Hopefully I'll be able to schedule at least a couple more here shortly. If anyone is interested in my wedding photography services, please shoot me an email! I work mostly here in the Nashville and Middle-Tennessee area but I am very willing to travel.
